Executive Assistant Life New Year Uncategorized

Happy New Year!

It’s been a while since I have written. July 2013 to be precise. I fell off, somehow. It’s been a long three years. I guess that’s the story of my life – it’s never easy and it’s always the long road to where I’m going. I have been a successful C-Suite Executive Assistant for the past three years. I have also been in a relationship for the same duration.

My career is going well. I have a great reputation as a reliable and trustworthy EA. With my attention to detail and knack for being able to adapt to what is needed, I am able to pull off each C-Suite Executive’s demands, preferences and specifications for them. I have my own direct report but have been pulled in to cover for two of our top commands based on my excellent work ethic.

My relationship has been filled with ups and downs, lessons learned and an abundance of memories. It’s not easy to be in a relationship, especially when you’re fearful of being stuck. I’m used to flying solo. Sure I’ve had relationships throughout my life but none were long term by any means. We’re together over three years now. It takes commitment and effort to make a relationship work. We’re still thriving.

My son is now 19 years old and in his second year of college. Umm, yes, he’s in college. Time has flown by and he’s turning into a great young man. He’s doing really well at school and he enjoys it. He plays guitar and is obsessed with and idolizes the band Metallica (Thanks to mom for introducing!). I can’t wait to see how his future plays out!

My new year goals – to get back to writing, continue my career growth, commit, be healthier and ENJOY my LIFE.

Cheers 2017!

Jennifer
