Surprise! It’s a navicular fracture.

Just when I get past the breast lump scare I get another surprise. I fell down the stairs leaving to work last Tuesday. It snowed the night before and there was some snow and ice on the steps which caused me to slip and fall down 4 of the steps. It was awful. I was shocked by the sudden fall and unfortunately suffered a fracture to my foot. I’ve been on crutches for more than a week now. I’m also wearing a walking cast. It’s a shitty situation. Thankfully school was a few days shy of ending when this accident happened. I should be on my feet or atleast walking without crutches in time for school to start again in 6 weeks. I’ll see the doctor again on January 4th. Happy New Year! I’d like to fix this and move forward with a healthier new year.
