As much garlic as you like

The parents asked me what do I want for dinner last night. They know I’m particular about food.

I wanted steak broiled medium with garlic and mushrooms, bruschetta, and home-made french fries with feta cheese, a splash of lemon, sea salt and oregano.

Through my guidance because I can’t get around the kitchen due to my foot injury, they made london broil with fresh garlic chopped and spread on top with some olive oil cooked to medium-well, sliced italian bread with a tablespoon of bruschetta mix, sauteed mushrooms in butter, fresh cut potatos fried and topped with crumbled feta cheese, splash of lemon juice, sprinkling of sea salt and oregano. Yummy!

A simple and easy meal to whip up and enjoy with your family in under an hour made with fresh ingredients. This is one of my favorite meals. You can add as much garlic as you like.

For the bruschetta mix – chop 5 plum tomatoes, 6 leaves of basil, 4 cloves of chopped garlic, 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil and if you like 1 tbs of balsamic vinegar. Mix together in a bowl and top sliced Italian bread with the mix or sliced steak. 

Don’t forget the wine!
